Journey to becoming a mature disciple of Jesus Christ!

Phase 1

Define the Relationship
The sessions are intended to give each participant a clear understanding of what it means to be a Mature Disciple of Jesus Christ. Sessions are also intended to help participants make a conscious, informed decision and commitment to either begin or intensify their serious journey toward becoming a Mature Disciple of Jesus Christ.

Phase 2: Cultivate

Preparing the Ground
This phase is intended to steer participants to practice behavior that will get them to examine themselves, examine scriptures, and to examine if their actions are incorporating the characteristics that will ensure maturation as a Christian.

Phase 3: Sow

Planting The Seed
Now that the cultivating process is complete, it is time to sow into “good ground’. The key elements of this phase are (1) the seed, which is the Word of God, (2) the good ground or soil which is the human spirit and (3) the devil.

Phase 4: Maintain

Preserving The Growth
Participants will assess and develop individual habits to nourish and maintain their spiritual development. They will study and practice the spiritual disciplines to facilitate on-going discipleship

Phase 5: Prune

Pruning The Disciple
This advanced phase of discipleship will focus on God’s pruning process to bear abundant fruit in the life of a disciple.

Phase 6: Protect

Protecting the Relationship
This course will focus on protecting your relationship with God, God’s people, and God’s creation by putting on the whole armor of God.
